Seeking to be Faithful - 1996

Seeking to be Faithful (1996) by Dr. Harvey Plett is the story of the Evangelical Mennonite Conference, or Kleine Gemeinde. The book begins with a brief introduction to the Reformation in the sixteenth century and the rise of the Anabaptist/Mennonite movement. It progresses to the beginnings of the Kleine Gemeinde in Russia and then the migration and settlement in North America. In the final chapters the book reviews structural, educational and missionary developments in the EMC from the mid-50s to 1996.
