Johann R. Reimer: A Family History

The story of Johann R. Reimer, his ancestors and the large family of which he was the patriarch. This story begins hundreds of years ago in East Prussia, Poland. It was there, on September 28, 1756, that Abraham von Reisen was born. Abraham became the great-grandfather of Johann. Abraham’s fifth child, Helena, married Klaas Reimer, who became the founder of the Kleine Gemeinde Church (now the EMC). Their grandson was Johann R. Reimer, the central figure of this story.
