Ministerial Meeting
The EMC Ministerial meets several times a year to discuss matters related to theology, pastoral care and ministerial administration. Beginning in 2025, the first meeting of the year will be online only in April and the second will be in-person or hybrid near the end of November.
Who should attend? Anyone who works in church pastoral leadership, including all pastors, elders, deacons and their spouses, as well as missionaries, is invited to attend Ministerial meetings and participate in discussions. However, only credentialed ministers are eligible to vote on matters of significant theological or church practice issues. When this is the case, it will be clearly stated during the meeting to avoid confusion.

A Globally Connected Generation
What values are Millennials, and now Gen Z, bringing with them into adulthood? What kind of world are they already building? What is their relationship to faith?
The reality is that members of this age cohort are hardly “the next generation” anymore. Newcomers no longer, they are a formidable force, actively shaping the future of our workplaces, media, politics, arts, neighbourhoods and, yes, churches.
